JEEP CHEROKEE ZF TRANSMISSION DEFECT

Class Action Lawsuit For 2016 Jeep Cherokee Transmission Failures

Our law firm is investigating a potential class action lawsuit related to an alleged defect in several Jeep Cherokee models. It has been reported that the 9-speed automatic transmission supplied by ZF Friedrichshaffen AG (“ZF”) does not shift properly.  In some cases, owners have reported sudden deceleration, failure to shift gears, and other problems.  This alleged Jeep transmission defect could be a safety issue because the reported shifting issues may occur while the vehicle is in operation.

Our investigation reveals that this Cherokee transmission defect may be improperly denied warranty coverage under both the new vehicle limited warranty and powertrain warranty.  Some owners have reported that Jeep dealerships have been unable to fix the reported problems and have been told that the transmissions are operating as intended.

If you are a current or former owner of a 2016 Jeep Cherokee vehicle that has experienced transmission problems and are interested in learning how we can help, please provide the following information:
