HONDA CIVIC SETTLEMENT
We have filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Honda relating to alleged defects in Honda Civic vehicles. Due to the alleged defects with the rear control arms, it is alleged that some Honda Civics are subject to uneven tire wear or premature tire wear. Honda has denied these allegations.
The parties in this action have reached a proposed settlement that was preliminarily approved by the Court in April 2013. If the Court approves the proposed settlement at the final approval hearing (currently scheduled for October 28, 2013) and the settlement becomes final, Honda will provide reimbursements and other benefits to eligible Settlement Class Members who submit timely and valid Claim Forms, as described in the Class Notice. Class notices are currently in the process of being mailed on a rolling basis.
If you are a present or former owner/lessee of a 2006-2007 Honda Civic, 2006-2007 Honda Civic Hybrid, or 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid with vehicle identification numbers between JHMFA3 85000001 and JHMFA3 85010456, more information about the settlement (including a claim form) can be found on the settlement website: www.controlarmsettlement.com.
