LEXUS TIRE WEAR
Class Action Lawsuit Premature Tire Wear in Lexus Vehicles
Our law firm is investigating a potential class action lawsuit related to an alleged defect in several 2013-2017 Lexus models, including the Lexus IS250 and IS350. It has been reported that the rear tires on these vehicles suffer from significant premature tire wear on the inside edge of the tires. In some cases, owners have reported having to change the rear tires after less than 10,000 miles. This alleged tire wear defect could be a safety issue, because owners may not realize that the inside of their tires are bald and could suffer a tire blowout while operating the vehicle.
Our investigation reveals that this tire wear issue is caused by a suspension defect and Lexus may refuse to cover the cost of replacing worn tires on the basis that they are a “wear item” and therefore not covered by the new vehicle limited warranty.
If you are a current or former owner of a 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 or 2017 Lexus vehicle that has sustained premature rear tire wear and are interested in learning how we can help, please provide the following information:
