VISTA ENERGY FRAUD
Our law firm is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of customers of Vista Energy (sometimes referred to as Vista Energy Marketing). Vista Energy is a third-party provider of energy (ESCO) in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Nebraska, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. On its website, Vista Energy represents that it will save its customers money: “Thanks to deregulation, we can supply your natural gas at a discount. Vista has the expertise to buy the natural gas in the competitive open wholesale market at a lower price.”
It has been alleged, however, that Vista Energy has recently increased its per therm price for natural gas dramatically, and in some cases is significantly higher than the local utility. It is further alleged that this price increase is in no way tied to the market cost of energy.
It has also been alleged that Vista Energy may be using intentionally misleading marketing techniques on what it deems to be less sophisticated consumers, in an effort to fraudulently induce people to switch to Vista Energy from their local utility.
If you or someone you know is a current or former Vista Energy customer and has experienced a dramatic increase in energy costs, you may be entitled to money damages. Please fill out the form below for more information:
